A d10. Playing around with the macro focus and some of the lighting settings.
Dan said: "I like the subtle gradient effect that you have going on here, pure white surrounding the die darkening very slowly in a radial pattern to grey at the corners. Offhand I couldn't reproduce it quickly, and such a shot is always fun.
You'll notice some washout reflection that's not terribly desirable on the under-sides of the die; again I don't totally understand why all but the "4" face get that effect. It would be interesting to experiment more on this setup to control for it better and perhaps even get some nice shadow effects (strong & low side-lighting casting a long shadow, perhaps)."]]> Brian S. ASCII renderings of objects from Chrono Trigger, combined for a joke submission to the fanart gallery of Gameforms (a now-defunct video game news site). The fact that both bssteph's and pentium's names are capitalized dates the image significantly.

2008/06/29 edit: The fact that the above description does not mention Shrubey's current lack of capitalization, nor the fact that I've reduced myself to just my initials (lowercase, of course) dates both the image and the description even further.]]> Brian S.
