A d10. Playing around with the macro focus and some of the lighting settings.
Dan said: "I like the subtle gradient effect that you have going on here, pure white surrounding the die darkening very slowly in a radial pattern to grey at the corners. Offhand I couldn't reproduce it quickly, and such a shot is always fun.
You'll notice some washout reflection that's not terribly desirable on the under-sides of the die; again I don't totally understand why all but the "4" face get that effect. It would be interesting to experiment more on this setup to control for it better and perhaps even get some nice shadow effects (strong & low side-lighting casting a long shadow, perhaps)."
